Profire, Raul & Claudia

Raul and Claudia serve as church planters in Sibiu, Romania, under the oversight of the International Presbyterian Church. Raul is a national partner with MTW currently under care with IPC to be ordained as a teaching elder. Following the Lord’s call to start a church plant, Raul and Claudia moved to Sibiu in 2022.

They started house meetings for study and prayer with some other people interested in the Reformed faith. By His grace, the Lord added to their number family after family, and they now form a seven-family church plant of the IPC. They meet in a rented space every week, three times a week, for prayer, study, worship, and fellowship.

The need their small community has for pastoral care and guidance, evangelism, and preparation for ministry strengthens Raul’s belief that the Lord is calling him to full-time ministry. Raul and Claudia are grateful and humbled by the calling of God to preach the gospel and make disciples, and they strive to live up to it faithfully.
