PERSONAL NOTE

It is estimated that by 2050 four out of every 10 Christians in the world will live in sub-Saharan Africa. Currently, the Christian church in Africa is growing. But there is concern that this growth is a mile wide, but only an inch deep. As a result, there is a great need for humble and Christ-centered pastors, who are well-trained in the doctrines of grace, to lead the new churches of East Africa in the coming years.

After serving as a pastor in the Presbyterian Church in America for 25 years, David and his wife, Kelly, have responded to the need to serve the next generation of pastors in East Africa. They are excited to come alongside Malawi church planter Confex Makhalira and his wife, Mwai, to help train this next generation of pastors and their wives as they plant churches in Malawi.
