Otremba, Tom & Damaris

Serving in Poland | Acct # P-0671

PERSONAL NOTE

After 21 years of leading a fruitful church-planting ministry in Poland and raising two adult children who love Christ, Tom and Damaris are focusing their energies on equipping others. They desire to raise up a new generation of church leaders immersed in sound Reformed theology. To that end, they are pursuing a calling to establish and develop the Institute for Reformation, Poland.

The vision for the institute is the reformation of Christ’s Church in Poland according to the whole counsel of God, and the mission is to equip a new generation of Reformed, Christian leaders for gospel ministry. The Institute for Reformation aims accomplish this by propagating gospel-centered and Reformed faith through media, publishing, and events, and by training church leaders in sound theology for ministry in the church.

Tom (M.A. in Christian apologetics, Biola University; B.S. in business management, Liberty University) is an ordained minister and part of the Presbyterian Church of Poland. He is continuing his training in Philadelphia at Westminster Theological Seminary, pursuing an M.Div. with plans for a doctorate. While in seminary, Tom remains actively involved in ministry: media—creating podcasts, vlogs, and other video content on YouTube; publications as general editor; and mentoring church planters and leaders in Poland through video conferencing and regular trips to Poland.

Damaris (M.A. in fine arts education, Silesia University; B.A. in fine arts, Belhaven University) is an accomplished artist and is currently preparing to start an M.F.A. program in painting to prepare her to use art for God’s glory as an evangelistic tool.
