Romer, Mikael & Zuzanna
Serving in Poland | Acct # p-0442
Mikael and Zuzanna met in grad school in Greenville, South Carolina, in 2016 and married the following year. Zuzanna is from Poland and Mikael is from Finland. Both came to the U.S. to study theology and bring the gospel back to places in Europe where it is rarely heard. Their home church in the U.S. is Downtown Presbyterian Church in Greenville.
Mikael sensed a strong call toward evangelism and church planting when he was 15 in Finland. In 2009, he moved to the States to study theology with the intention of returning to Europe. In 2015, Zuzanna came to the U.S as an au pair. She stayed because she sensed God’s calling to study biblical counseling. She completed two master’s degrees in biblical counseling and Christian ministries. She desires to disciple and counsel women with Scripture. God has called them to serve in Krakow, Poland.
They will come along Christ the Savior Presbyterian Church (Kościół Chrystusa Zbawiciela) to help the church, to learn from them, and ultimately to plant more biblical, Reformed, gospel-centered churches in Poland and beyond. They help the local church through preaching, teaching, mentoring, and hospitality. The Romers are also the first MTW missionaries in Poland.
Join them as partners in God’s mission to bring the saving news of Jesus Christ to people in a post-Soviet, Catholic context, and to plant churches where people can grow in their love and knowledge of our Savior.
