Phillips, John Michael

The Lord has been preparing John Michael in recent years to answer the call to pursue a long-term mission in El Salvador. He is excited for this opportunity to join a team led by Rodney and Jana Davila, which desires to plant healthy gospel-centered nationally lead churches. While learning the language and culture, he will be networking with local Salvadorans as he transitions to various facets of church support ministries.

John Michael prays that God will use him to connect and build relationships with Salvadorans, while opening hearts to know the gospel. Joy and comfort are found in David’s call to praise and proclaim God in Psalm 103, which John Michael hopes to be able to communicate with everyone he gets to know. “Praise the Lord, O my soul; all my inmost being, praise His holy name.  Praise the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits.”
