Markwalter, Amy

Amy has a passion and calling to serve missionary families and children. She has a master’s degree from Covenant Seminary, a professional teacher’s license with experience in public and private schools, and over 10 years of work at churches as a children’s director. She also has been leading the children’s ministry at Area Retreats with MTW since 2009.

As MTW’s member care children’s ministry specialist, Amy has the unique privilege of traveling stateside and internationally to care for missionaries through educational consulting and relational ministry. She enjoys spending time with missionary families and connecting them to resources that will support their ministry and care for their children. 

She and her husband live in Tennessee where they serve in their church and community and open their home to house concerts, dinners, and guests.
