PERSONAL NOTE

Karis Fukuda currently serves in Nagoya, Japan, as outreach assistant at Christ Bible Institute. She seeks to provide evangelistic opportunities and training for the CBI team and Christ Bible Seminary students, and works in the development of new evangelistic resources to reach the Japanese. She is also involved at several levels with CBI's intern and residency programs. Outside of CBI, Karis seeks to engage her local community and those who encounter her with the gospel, through Bible studies and hospitality ministry. She is married to Motoki Fukuda, the second son of a Japanese church planter. Though Motoki is not vocationally involved in ministry, he serves through opening their home and at their local church. He is trained as a carpenter and specializes in making sofas.
