Lee, Jonathan & Joy

Jonathan and Joy are both Korean American. They met in Maryland and moved to Illinois in 2010. They both studied at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School and served in a local Korean immigrant church for seven years. During this season of pastoral ministry, God encouraged, challenged, and called them to serve overseas.
After serving in East Asia, God used the pandemic to open the door for Jonathan and Joy to serve in South Korea. They moved to Korea in September 2021 with a vision of “The gospel of the kingdom advancing throughout Asia and the world.” Jonathan and Joy will begin to build a ministry team to reach North Korean refugees, migrant workers, and local and international college students. As they go, raise, train, and proclaim with the message of the gospel in Korea, please pray that God would go before and beyond them!
