Hoot, Trevin & Ruthie

Trevin and Ruthie met in Bulgaria as interns with MTW in 2012 and are now serving as a family together in the capital city of Sofia through evangelism, discipleship, and church planting. Trevin is the pastor of Nov Zhivot church, a small congregation connected with the Bulgarian Evangelical Congregational Union. He works alongside Bulgarians seeking to raise up new leaders in the church and plant new churches throughout Sofia.
Trevin received his M.Div. from Covenant Theological Seminary and is a teaching elder in the PCA. Ruthie has a background in nursing and worked as an R.N. for seven years. They married in 2016 while Trevin was in seminary in St. Louis. Their children were born in Bulgaria.
The Hoots love the Lord and long to see His church cleansed and made beautiful by the power of the Holy Spirit working through the Word. They are passionate to see the kingdom of God advance throughout this nation and to see lives changed by the gospel.
