Donny and Courtney met while studying in Atlanta in December 2012 and married in Scotland in November 2013. Since then, the Harwood family has expanded with the addition of their two beautiful children.
Donny is a native of Glasgow, Scotland, and serves as a bi-vocational assistant pastor in a PCA church in Newnan, Georgia. Alongside his role at the church, Donny uses his background in physics to serve in a data and analytics role for a large corporation in Atlanta.
Courtney is a native of Milledgeville, Georgia, and is a writer. She spends much of her time at home with the kids, but you will also find her working on her latest fiction novel in the local coffee shop.
The Harwoods are following God’s call to return to Donny’s native land and his hometown of Glasgow, Scotland, to strengthen an existing Free Church congregation in the heart of the student dense West End and to plant churches as part of the Free Church of Scotland’s vision to plant 30 churches by 2030.
While Donny is doing the work of preaching, discipleship, and evangelism, Courtney will be ministering to the women and youth of Glasgow.
