White, David & Robin

David and Robin White serve in Member Care for MTW, helping ensure that missionaries remain spiritually and emotionally healthy as they serve around the world. One of their greatest passions is seeing God’s servants thrive, and especially seeing them discover the joys of applying biblical truth to their own lives. This has been a central theme of the Whites’ ministry through the years.

The Whites have been missionaries since 1987, when they went to Australia for three years with MTW’s short-term program. They then were called to work with MTW’s Border Evangelism and Mercy Ministry on the U.S./Mexican border, where they served from 1992-2001. During that time, they served in church planting, community development, mercy ministries, and administration.  

In 2001, David accepted the responsibilities of directing MTW’s internship program, leading the department through a period of growth for four years. After a time directing the Two-Week Department, and later the Coaching Department, David began as assistant director of Spiritual Life, which is now Member Care, where he continues serving and encouraging missionaries by assisting them through debriefings, coaching and other means of seeking their spiritual and emotional health.  Our team strives to see our missionaries thriving on the field.
