Gahagen, Craig & Heather

Acct # 12700

PERSONAL NOTE

Craig and Heather Gahagen have been swatting mosquitos in the Amazon jungle for the past 35 years, serving the people of Peru through aviation ministry with MTW and South America Mission. SAMAIR serves as a vital transportation link that enables numerous mission organizations to reach and support remote communities in the Peruvian rainforest, where traditional roads are virtually non-existent.

Through their work, Craig and Heather help make it possible for missionaries to bring the gospel message to over 55 different tribes across an area the size of California. SAMAIR plays a crucial role in Bible translation, evangelism, church planting, leadership development, medical services, and community development projects in the Amazonian jungle.

Craig serves as the Peru program manager and pilot, overseeing the aviation operations, which include three Cessna 206 aircraft, one of which is on floats. He also acts as a regional director for South America Mission in Peru and is part of the Field Leadership Team. Heather serves as the finance manager, ensuring that the flight program runs smoothly and efficiently. They serve alongside a dedicated team of eight aviation and office personnel committed to advancing God’s work in Peru.
