After recently taking a strengths assessment, Carolyn was finally able to put a specific word to a life-long passion of hers … connectedness! Since childhood, Carolyn has enjoyed connecting people to God, to others, and even to themselves through helping them understand more about how God has gifted and wired them and how they can use their gifts in God’s kingdom.
Over the years, Carolyn has been able to use her desire for connectedness and her heart for Christ’s Church in various capacities, both at home in the United States and around the world. She served as an MTW missionary in Milan, Italy, worked for 10 years in a church revitalization ministry, and, most recently, spent six years with MTW in Kampala, Uganda, working with women, children, and businesspeople.
Today, Carolyn is part of MTW’s Member Care Support Team, which stays connected with missionaries through preparing, caring for, and assisting them as they work faithfully in their calling, and helping them instill grace and the gospel in every aspect of their lives. She provides ongoing support through coaching and encouraging so that missionaries can remain healthy and serve effectively on the mission field.
