Ambrose, Mark & Laura

Mark and Laura serve with the MTW Planting Cambodia Team.

After 20 years of providing medical care in the U.S., Mark now cares for victims of sex trafficking, the impoverished, neglected, and people who are considered marginalized. He is also training Cambodian Christian doctors at Family Clinic to practice gospel-centered medicine so they can start Christian clinics. Mark works to create a holistic ministry that connects the clinic to the local church and serves churches in the villages through regular medical outreach. Mark is modeling leadership in the local church, serves as co-team leader in Cambodia, and is MTW medical coordinator for Asia-Pacific.

Laura engages the women of Cambodia formally and informally to encourage them to flourish as women of faith and of the Word. In a country where less than 3 percent of the population believe in Jesus, she disciples women of various ages and backgrounds to impact both their church, their community, and the next generation for Christ. Laura works closely with the local church to develop women’s ministries including outreach to victims of abuse and human trafficking.
