Amanda’s desire to serve Christ among the most unreached people groups came as she grew in love for God through prayer and with her reading of the Scriptures about the glories of God among the nations. As a teenager, she spent her spare time consuming missionary autobiographies which grew her passion for God’s glory among all people groups and languages of the earth.

In summer 2025, she spent a few weeks as an unofficial intern serving in Phnom Penh, Cambodia with the MTW team. During that time, God gave her an intense love for the Khmer people group and the team she served with there. She is now returning as an official summer intern to serve alongside the MTW team in Cambodia discipling, teaching ESL, and developing relationships for the gospel in summer 2026.
