East Coast Missions Conference
a Sending Church
Invest Deeply in the Gospel Call
Gather to Scatter affirms that while Christ calls individuals personally, He sends them through His church. God gathers His people into a visible, ordered body for worship, formation, and care—and from that gathered life, He sends them out together for the advance of the gospel. Missions is not an individual project nor a delegated program, but a shared responsibility carried by the whole church through prayer, discernment, stewardship, and partnership.
The purpose of the MTW East Coast Missions Conference is to gather believers together in order to encourage and to support one another in being faithful to the Great Commission. We pray that the Lord will use His people, and that the nations may be made all the more glad, in His name, as we gather to be sent and faithfully carry His mission to the world.
This year’s theme, “Every Church is a Sending Church,” inspired by Acts 13:1-3, encourages attendees to consider their their role in God’s global mission. The ECMC aims to bring the mission field closer to participants, fostering a deeper passion for God’s work worldwide. It is our goal to raise up the next generations of senders and goers to the harvest that is plentiful.
This year’s conference has been planned by MTW’s East Coast Asian American Advocacy Team (ASAM). The ASAM Team exists to create opportunities and intentional spaces for people of all backgrounds to find their role in God’s mission to the nations. We pray that these gatherings would be a catalyst for the next generation to commit their lives fully to the Lord and to His Great Commission.

ECMC Worship Team
Members of Multiple Churches
For the past four years, the ECMC Worship Team has come together to lead worship at the annual East Coast Missions Conference. Through their leadership, they have inspired many to join God’s mission to the nations.
Comprised of members from various churches across Northern Virginia, the team exemplifies the unity of the local church in service to the global church. As they lead worship, their primary goal is to gather people from all backgrounds to then go to serve the nations.
