Manchester is one of the most strategic places in Europe to reach emerging generations in an increasingly post-Christian culture. Home to almost 3 million people, over 100,000 university students, the BBC, a thriving creative sector, and communities speaking more than 180 languages, it’s also one of the U.K.’s most secular cities–yet recent research points to a growing openness to spiritual conversation. Manchester’s international population means our church can reach people from countries where access to the gospel is limited, including Saudi Arabia, Iran and Oman.

At City Church Manchester, we want to be a lab for gospel innovation whose lessons serve churches far beyond our own city. We do that through relevant, creative communications that hold fast to the ancient truth and authority of Scripture–podcasts, social media, training tracks, and website content. Through our internships, we’re raising up the next generation of gospel innovators, equipping them with hands-on ministry experience they’ll carry for a lifetime. And our Artefact ministry supports and encourages artists across churches in Manchester to make good work through gatherings, conferences, cohorts, and conversations.

Help support creative ministry and innovation to reach more people in Manchester, the northwest of England, and beyond. Your gifts will support a creative director to develop this ministry.
