Alex Kiess

Alex grew up in the Washington, D.C. area and plans to join the Kaihin Makuhari team in Chiba, Japan. He became a Christian at Fourth Presbyterian Church and grew a desire to serve in an area of the world with little access to the gospel. He went to Westminster Seminary California in 2022 where he heard about the need in Japan from visiting missionaries. While itinerating, Alex is serving as a pastoral intern at Shady Grove Presbyterian Church in Maryland, and hopes to support the church in Japan in its work of church planting and making disciples of Christ.
