Julian & Christiana Russell

Julian completed his D.Min., as well as a Th.M. at Covenant Seminary, St. Louis. He completed his M.Div. at Reformed Theological Seminary, Orlando. Christiana completed her M.A. in teaching at Christian Brothers University, Memphis, and her B.S. in teaching at the University of Minnesota, Mankato.

Julian and Christiana have planted churches in the U.S. and the Bahamas, their birthplace. They have also been deeply involved in cross-cultural ministry, leadership development and Christian education throughout the U.S., West Africa, and the Bahamas. They have responded to God’s call to serve His people in Grenada and the surrounding region.

Julian and Christiana want to leverage their relationships throughout the U.S. and the Caribbean by seeking to cultivate healthy cross-cultural partnerships that would spread the gospel throughout the Caribbean.

The Russells will partner with the leadership of the Grenada Institute of Theological Education in the following areas: development, strategic planning, teaching, missions, and evangelism. As the ministry of G.I.T.E. expands to nearby islands, Julian will lead the feasibility of planting churches throughout the immediate area and beyond.
