Chris & Ashley Essig

Chris and Ashley Essig are thrilled to join the team of dedicated MTW missionaries in Panama City, Panama. Ashley and Chris met during their college years and were each called into ministry at different times and in unique ways—serving cross-culturally, vocationally, and within their community. While raising a family, the Lord has allowed their callings to intersect and ultimately lead part of their family to full-time ministry in Panama, while their grown children will remain in the U.S. for college.

Chris will serve as the music director at Iglesia Comunidad de Cristo (Christ Community Church). Chris brings over a decade of experience leading worship and teaching music and plans to use his gifts in worship, evangelism, community development, and discipleship.

Ashley will serve as the hospitality coordinator. She brings years of experience in family, hospitality, discipleship, small business ownership, and photography and is excited to begin this new ministry chapter in Panama.
