Joy grew up as a missionary kid in Braxton, West Virginia, and from an early age felt the Lord calling her to full-time ministry. Since graduating high school, Joy has had the privilege of serving in several countries as a missionary. For the past year, she’s been in South Korea, serving an English teacher, and has been invited to return. 

South Korea is uniquely positioned to reach people from nations where it is difficult to share the gospel. By serving them in Korea, missionaries have the opportunity to share Christ’s love in a safe environment, with the hope that many will eventually return to their home countries. The South Korea team is praying they will return to their families and nations carrying the hope of the gospel with them. 

Joy’s heart is to love people well and to share with them the good news of Christ.
