Therismos (from the Greek word “harvest”) is a discipleship opportunity where participants gain experience through observing and serving in the ongoing ministry in Lethbridge, Alberta. Through interacting with Canadian and First Nation culture, including those experiencing homelessness, addiction, and other various struggles, participants are challenged to see the church and its mission, while reflecting on the call of their own life.
This summer intensive program, in partnership with RUF, includes intentional mentoring for the participants, opportunities to hear from First Nation speakers and community ministry leaders, and engaging in a missional church context. It is open to graduates of high school and college students.
Application Deadline: April 1, 2023
Dates: May 25-June 10
Project Cost: TBD for food, lodging, and ground transportation. Airfare to Calgary or Lethbridge is additional.
