Indigenous Ministry Training | June 2-18, 2022

Canada First Nations Team Native American Team Lethbridge Mission Trips Americas - North
OPPORTUNITY DETAILS

Despised because they were different, displaced because of greed for their natural resources, and destroyed in a genocidal attempt to exterminate them, Native America and First Nations tribes have a dark past with non-natives. History cannot be changed, but bridges can be built by consistently sharing the love of Christ.

This ministry training opportunity is designed for high school graduates and college students. The program will consist of training and engaging in hands-on ministry by serving at soup kitchens, food banks, and ministering to the homeless in the city of Lethbridge. The desire is to cultivate a vision for ministry in an urban context with a large Indigenous population.

What is required?
A current passport, a love of Christ, and a heart to serve others! Each person will be required to complete a child protection training course or provide documentation that you have recently taken a course.

Where will we stay?
Participants will stay at Amazing Grace Church.

Project Cost:
$1,500 per person for food, lodging, and ground transportation. Airfare to Calgary or Lethbridge is additional.
