Community Health

Cambodia Global Medical Team Phnom Penh Longer Asia - Southeast
OPPORTUNITY DETAILS

The mortality and morbidity rate of children, particularly those under age five, has been of concern to the health community in the developing world. The MTW Cambodia team is working to bring solutions, all within the context of the whole community and the local church. We need doctors, nurses, and a project coordinator (with basic medical knowledge/skills) to amplify our efforts to address these issues and open doors for the gospel.

The team uses the Comprehensive Rural Health Project (CRHP) model, which involves a community in addressing its health problems, in preventing and treating the majority of the conditions with simple techniques, and in dealing with root causes, such as poverty, women’s status etc. You will work directly with skilled medical professionals, including Khmer residents, helping to teach and train Khmer village health workers, nursing, medical, and midwifery students, and will also be conducting medical clinics.

Come and help us bring the hope and healing of Christ to the poorest of the poor.
