**APPLICATION PROCESS CLOSED FOR SUMMER 2022. PLEASE CHECK BACK THIS FALL FOR 2023.**
Kampala is a bustling and vibrant city of chaos and color, intense poverty, and stunning beauty. Are you curious about what church-based ministry can look like in a small congregation in an urban African context? Are you flexible, self-motivated, and ready to learn and jump in? The MTW team in Kampala, Uganda, is seeking an intern this summer!
Ministry activities can vary based on your interests and skills, but could include home visits and evangelism, children’s ministry, social media development such as website creation for the church, women’s or men’s ministry, or things like office administration or accounting.
Although you can expect to spend a lot of time working alongside missionaries and staff, there are times when you will need to work independently too. Candidates should be comfortable doing some things alone, such as home visits or errands around the city. No special skills are required except the physical ability to walk in the sun along the unpaved roads throughout our community.
This is a great way to use your skills and get a hands-on experience in cross-cultural missions!
Dates: June through July
