**Application process closed for summer 2023. Please check back this fall to explore summer opportunities for 2024.**
We’re looking for one or two guys, 18 or older, who are ready to spend their summer serving an Indigenous people group (the Quechua) in and around Huaraz, Peru. You’d be assisting our missionaries with everything from evangelism and discipleship to teaching organic farming methods to repairing toilets or painting at the ministry center. It’s a great opportunity to learn about the orality method of communicating Scripture as well as observe how the truths of Scripture are taught through organic farming techniques.
Huaraz is located at 10,000 feet in the Andes Mountains and you will find lots of opportunities for hiking and being in nature. The Quechua are warm, hospitable, hard-working people and God is at work among them. We’d love for you to join us this summer and see for yourself. If you’re flexible, eager to learn, have some knowledge of Spanish, and a servant’s heart, please apply today!
Dates: June through July
Year-round opportunities are also available.
