The Global Service Volunteer Representative is responsible for preparing volunteers for their term of service (between 1-11 months). The Representative will be responsible for facilitating all phases of the volunteer process once the participant has received field placement. This includes but is not limited to shepherding each participant during support raising, assisting with training, managing finances, and concluding with an MTW debrief and any necessary follow-up at the end of their term. The Rep will also help facilitate the connection between the field, MTW missionaries, office, church, and national partners, ensuring that constituent needs are responded to and met in a timely manner.
The ideal candidate would be someone who loves the Lord and is very relational, with strong interpersonal and administration skills. He/she will be computer literate and proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, with the posture of a constant learner. In addition, this person will enjoy working with younger generations and have some missional field experience, including the support raising process. Experience with Workday software is a plus.
