How might a church respond to the different economic levels in its neighborhood? How should it best minister to the needs of the poor or handle the differences in language and culture both within its walls and outside its doors?
This is an opportunity to live in the multicultural city of Brussels and work through difficult questions like these while experiencing refugee ministry and urban church life in a neighborhood largely populated by immigrants. You’ll be interacting with people from many cultural and faith backgrounds and have opportunities to assist with all kinds of church activities including Bible studies, evangelism, meals for refugees, and visits with the homeless.
There are both short- and long-term service opportunities for this hands-on, deep learning experience. Interested? We’d love to talk to you.
