Stephen was born in Pennsylvania and came to the Lord in his early teens. He holds a B.A. from Covenant College in art, Bible, and theology; an M.Div. and Th.M. from Reformed Theological Seminary; and a Th.D. from the Australian College of Theology. After serving in several U.S. pastorates Stephen accepted a call through MTW to Perth, Australia, to plant a seminary. He founded Westminster Theological College/Trinity Theological College, Perth, and transitioned it to national leadership in 2007. Since 2003 he has been MTW team leader in Western Australia. Stephen and Berenice are leaders in church planting, national leadership training, theology, and arts and culture-making. Stephen is also pastor-at-large for the presbytery of Perth, WPC.
Berenice was born in Sydney, Australia, and came to the Lord as a child. She earned a B.A. with honors in fine art from Curtin University and is presently a Ph.D. fine art candidate. Her artwork is part of collections in Australia, Europe, and the U.S. She has lectured and exhibited internationally. Berenice is the founder and coordinator of the MAKE Collective, an MTW initiative that helps creatives to become part of international church-planting movements through cultural engagement, creative thinking, and artistic excellence.
