McKinney, Jacob & Shawnda

Jacob and Shawnda McKinney married in 2014 and have always been passionate about mission work. They have been part of mission trips involving sports, community outreach, discipleship training, and youth ministry.

They now have three children. While raising a family, they still continued to pray about life as missionaries and where they may go. That place is now Scotland, working alongside the Free Church of Scotland. Church planting, youth ministry, and young family discipleship are their passions and where they feel gifted. They are excited to help churches grow and be a part of the goal to see 30 churches planted by 2030.

The McKinneys’ desire is to see the gospel shared with every area of Scotland, be a part of community outreach through discipleship, and see Scotland grow in grace.
