Bean, Dawson & Shanna

After 17 years in campus ministry and service to God’s kingdom, the Bean family has said “Yes!” to the Lord’s call to serve Him overseas. The Beans will serve with a local church in the diverse West London borough of Ealing in their ongoing outreach and discipleship among London’s fast growing migrant communities from unreached people groups in the Middle East, South Asia, and Africa. 

After centuries of gospel saturation, today less than 1% of U.K. residents attend a gospel-centered church, and less than 2% attend a church of any kind as the U.K. continues its decline into secularism. Dawson and Shanna’s hearts are to see the gospel offered especially to those who have had the least access to the grace of Jesus Christ. They hope to see authentically contextualized churches planted and strengthened in one of the world’s most influential global cities. They both earned their bachelor’s degrees from Texas Tech University, where Shanna also received her M.B.A., and Dawson earned his M.Div. from Covenant Theological Seminary before being ordained in 2012.
